A new group of models took the spotlight at New York Fashion Week with the first ever plus-size runway show on Wednesday. In looks from OneStopPlus.com’s spring collection, models—ranging mostly from size 10 to size 16—strutted down the catwalk proudly in front of fuller-figured celebrities, including Precious star Gabourey Sidibe, Huge’s Nikki Blonsky, and Caroline Manzo of Real Housewives of New Jersey. “I think there is clearly more than one size of a woman and would be beautiful to embrace that,” model Amanda Docrate, who walked in Fashion Week for the first time, told New York Magazine. “I think it’s slow, but this is the push to start getting there.”
