President Trump lashed out on Monday against the “fake news media” for allegedly trying to blame him for a white supremacist attack Friday that killed at least 50 people at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. “The Fake News Media is working overtime to blame me for the horrible attack in New Zealand,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “They will have to work very hard to prove that one. So Ridiculous!” Tarrant explained his thoughts about Trump in his racist, hate-filled manifesto released just after the attack, asking himself, “Were/are you a supporter of Donald Trump?” “As a symbol of renewed white identity and common purpose? Sure. As a policy maker and leader? Dear god no,” he wrote.
