Partner: Scotty McKnight—Wide Receiver, New York Jets Hayden Panettiere would never go against the New York Jets, so it’s lucky she found love on her team. The actress, who describes herself as a “huge Jets fan,” met wide receiver Scotty McKnight through her friend, Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez. Panettiere and McKnight were photographed drinking beer and cheering on the Jets during the Nov. 27 game against the Buffalo Bills, when McKnight sat out the game on the injured list. “I’ve always been that girl who has a lot of dude friends,” Panettiere said. “I’m into sports, so we have a lot in common.” William Perlman, The Star-Ledger / Corbis Partner: Drew Brees—Quarterback, New Orleans Saints It’s been a big year for Drew Brees: He broke the record for passing yards in a single season—and his wife, Brittany, is expecting their third child. “A training-camp baby on the way,” Brees said in January. Brees and his wife have two young sons, Baylen and Bowen, and Brees says he thinks this one will be a girl. Drew and Brittany met while at Purdue University, and they married in 2003. Mark Humphrey / AP Photo Partner: Peyton Manning—Quarterback, Indianapolis Colts The Indianapolis Colts star quarterback had some company while sitting out the 2011 season: new twins Mosely and Marshall Manning and wife Ashley Manning. Peyton and Ashley have been married since 2001, having met via an introduction by her parents’ next-door neighbor. Originally from Memphis, Ashley is a real-estate developer. She is also involved in the PeyBack Foundation, a charity she and Peyton founded to help disadvantaged youth. Haraz N. Ghanbari / AP Photo Partner: Jay Cutler—Quarterback, Chicago Bears Best known for playing a bitchy beach blonde on the MTV reality shows Laguna Beach and its spin-off The Hills, Cavallari definitely has a thing for NFL QBs (she used to date former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart). After two years of on-and-off dating, the California girl is expecting a baby with Jay Cutler. The Chicago Bears QB first popped the question to Cavallari last Spring while vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The couple briefly split between July and November, but now they’re back together—hopefully this time for good. Shortly after they became re-engaged, Cavallari told People, “Sometimes, in order for things to get better, they have to end—even if it’s momentarily.” AP Photo (2) Partner: Tom Brady—Quarterback, New England Patriots Arguably the most powerful—and downright stunning—couple in all of sports, German-Brazilian Victoria's Secret supermodel Gisele Bündchen started seeing three-time Super Bowl winning New England Patriots NFL quarterback Tom Brady immediately after he split from his girlfriend of more than two years, actress Bridget Moynahan (around the time she became pregnant with his child). Despite meeting under somewhat dicey circumstances, the photogenic couple has been all smiles since. They were married twice—first in February 2009 in California, then later that year in April at a larger ceremony in Costa Rica—and in December 2009, Gisele gave birth to the couple's first child, Benjamin Rein Brady, whose middle name is in honor of Bündchen's mother's father, Reinoldo. Evan Agostini / AP Photo Partner: Colt McCoy—Quarterback, Cleveland Browns A former middle-distance track-and-field athlete for Baylor University, 23-year-old Rachel Glandorf is a tall, blonde, and beautiful Los Angeles native. She's currently a journalist for CBS affiliate KEYE-TV in Austin, Texas, where former University of Texas quarterback—and current Cleveland Browns starter—Colt McCoy is a legend. While he was a QB at Texas, Glandorf would wow all the Longhorns fans, sporting tight Longhorns T-shirts while cheering her fella on. And, on Jan. 12, 2010, in true Longhorn fashion, McCoy became engaged to Glandorf by proposing on the screen at Darrell K. Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium. They were married on July 17, 2010. Kate Mefford Partner: Kyle Boller—Quarterback, Oakland Raiders This former Miss California USA 2009 and Miss USA 2009 first runner-up was embroiled in a bit of controversy after she spoke out against same-sex marriage during the Miss USA 2009 competition. Her Miss California USA contract was later terminated by Donald Trump after several nude modeling shots surfaced. However, the blonde-haired, green-eyed stunner's life now seems to be on the right track. She married backup Oakland Raiders quarterback Kyle Boller in July 2010, and the couple announced the birth of their first daughter, Grace Christina, in May 2011. Splash News via Newscom Partner: A.J. Feeley—Quarterback, St. Louis Rams Although he lost the starting QB job for the St. Louis Rams in training camp to No. 1 draft pick—and rising star—Sam Bradford, backup QB A.J. Feeley can sleep comfortably knowing he's married to a certified babe. He dated two-time Olympic gold medalist and U.S. women's national soccer team member Heather Mitts on and off for seven years before they finally married in February 2010. Mitts has long been considered one of the most gorgeous female athletes in sports. In 2001, she was voted sexiest player in the WUSA on Playboy Online, and was voted ESPN.com's "Hottest Female Athlete" in 2004. Then, she posed—with Feeley—for the 2005 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, making men everywhere jealous of the QB. Howard C. Smith via Newscom Partner: Tony Romo—Quarterback, Dallas Cowboys Following his highly publicized relationship—and split—from former pop star turned entrepreneur Jessica Simpson, Dallas Cowboys star quarterback Tony Romo opted for another stunning southern belle. He started dating Texas native—and former Miss Missouri USA—Candice Crawford (Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford’s sister) during the summer of 2009, and, on Dec. 16, 2010, the KDAF Dallas–Fort Worth news station where Crawford works announced Romo proposed to her while celebrating her 24th birthday with her family at a restaurant. They tied the knot in Dallas last May. Brendan Hoffman / Getty Images Partner: Alex Smith—Quarterback, San Francisco 49ers Although former No. 1 NFL draft pick Alex Smith has experienced some on-field troubles as quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers—with frequent injuries and losing his starting job to former Ohio State star Troy Smith this past season—his off-field exploits have been quite impressive. He became engaged to, oddly enough, former Oakland Raiders cheerleader Elizabeth Barry back in 2007, and the two were married in a glamorous ceremony in March 2009 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. Let's hope sleeping with the enemy works out better for the stunning Barry than it did for Julia Roberts. Jeff Chiu / AP Photo Partner: Matt Schaub—Quarterback, Houston Texans Like Alex Smith, Houston Texans starting quarterback Matt Schaub proved it really does pay to be an NFL QB, dating then–Atlanta Falcons cheerleader Laurie Flynn after meeting her at a charity golf tournament hosted by one of Matt's teammates. And, after the two began dating, Schaub's on-field fortunes seemed to improve. He was traded from the Atlanta Falcons to the Houston Texans in 2007, and immediately became their starting guy, finally emerging from behind the shadow of former Falcons starting QB Michael Vick. Schaub married Flynn in early 2008, and he was named Pro Bowl MVP—in his first NFL Pro Bowl appearance—in 2009. The loving couple had a daughter together in March 2010. Partner: Eli Manning—Quarterback, New York Giants As if it's not cool enough being a Super Bowl–winning quarterback for the New York Giants—or football royalty, as the brother of Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning and son of former New Orleans Saints QB Archie Manning—the youngest, Eli Manning, proposed to his longtime girlfriend Abby McGrew in 2007. McGrew studied fashion in New York City, and the two have been seeing one another since his junior year at Ole Miss, where he was the star quarterback. The couple were married in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in April 2008, and they had a daughter in March 2011. Paul Hiffmeyer via AP Photo Partner: Chris Cooley—Tight End, Washington Redskins One of the best tight ends in the NFL, two-time Pro Bowl selection Chris Cooley has been the one bright spot on an otherwise unimpressive Washington Redskins football team for the last several years. His nickname is "Captain Chaos," he loves heavy-metal music, and is known for engaging in wild antics on his blog, The Cooley Zone. He met Redskins cheerleader Christy Oglevee in 2005 when another Redskins cheerleader he was seeing brought her to his house, and, after his relationship with Oglevee went public, she was kicked off the Redskins cheerleading squad for violating team rules prohibiting dating players. The two stayed strong though, marrying in 2008, and currently own an art gallery together in Virginia (Cooley has a side career as a potter, believe it or not). Nick Wass / AP Photo Partner: Hank Baskett—Wide Receiver, Minnesota Vikings Although NFL wide receiver Hank Baskett's on-field career has been a bit of a bust—he's bounced around to three different teams in five years, and famously muffed an onside kick for the Indianapolis Colts in the 2010 Super Bowl, swinging momentum back toward eventual champs the New Orleans Saints—off the field, he's known as the husband of a Playboy Playmate on the E! reality TV series Kendra. Yes, Baskett's partner is former Girls Next Door and sex-tape star Kendra Wilkinson. The former Playboy model made our list of the highest-paid reality TV stars, raking in an estimated $2 million in 2010 alone. The couple married on June 27, 2009, at the Playboy Mansion, and Wilkinson gave birth to their first child, Hank Baskett IV, on Dec. 11, 2009. John Shearer / Getty Images Partner: Chad Ochocinco—Wide Receiver, New England Patriots Last year may have been one of the worst professional seasons in wide receiver Chad Ochocinco's career—he changed his last name from Johnson to his uniform number, 85, in Spanish—with his then–Cincinnati Bengals team going 4-12 and Ochocinco collecting just 628 receiving yards. (He's currently a member of the 2012 Super Bowl–bound New England Patriots.) But his private life was quite the opposite. The six-time Pro Bowler starred in Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch, a dating show on VH1 with rules modeled after—what else?—the game of football. But Ochocinco didn't meet "the one" on his show; rather, he met her through Twitter. Evelyn Lozada, the bride-to-be and star of the reality series Basketball Wives—her ex is former NBA player Antoine Walker—flashed her engagement ring in a twit-pic with a caption that read, "I'm no rabbit but 10 carats looks good on me!" The couple is reportedly getting married this summer in Miami. Alexander Tamargo / Getty Images Partner: Thomas Jones—Running Back, Kansas City Chiefs The hulking, 33-year-old former New York Jets and Chicago Bears star running back—currently splitting time on the Kansas City Chiefs—helped lead the Bears to the Super Bowl during the 2006 season, rushing for 112 yards in an eventual loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Off the field, the 2008 Pro Bowler has been dating stunning actress Meagan Good (The Love Guru) off-and-on for the last several years. In a 2009 interview with Essence, Jones said, "When you are in a situation where plenty of women are around you, it's tempting. But if guys look at the big picture as a whole, it would be easier to make decisions. I've been blessed to make it through a lot of situations. Anything I'm doing, if [Meagan's] not there, she knows. Period." Frazer Harrison / Getty Images Partner: Wes Welker—Wide Receiver, New England Patriots A diminutive wide receiver by NFL standards at just 5-foot-9, Wes Welker's football career started off slow with the Miami Dolphins, but took off when he was traded to the New England Patriots in 2007. He has since become Tom Brady's favorite target, and one of the best wide receivers in the league, making the Pro Bowl from 2008 through 2010 and headed to 2012 Super Bowl. While the outcome of the game is yet to be determined, Welker has something else to celebrate: he recently got engaged to 2005 Miss Hooters International, Anna Burns. AP Photo; Getty Images Partner: Tony Gonzalez—Tight End, Atlanta Falcons An 11-time Pro Bowler who holds the NFL records for career touchdowns by a tight end (82), career receptions by a tight end (1,001), and reception yards by a tight end (11,842), Tony Gonzalez may just be the greatest tight end to ever play the game. While spending most of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs, Gonzalez was traded to the Atlanta Falcons in 2009, where he helped guide them to the playoffs this past season. Six years ago, he met his partner, October, while she was working at a restaurant owned by Dennis Rodman. The two held a commitment ceremony in 2007, and consider themselves married. They have a daughter together, Malia, and posed naked together for a PETA ad that read "We'd rather go naked than wear fur." HO Partner: Terrell Owens—Wide Receiver, Cincinnati Bengals The Kanye West of the NFL, this loud, brash, vainglorious wide receiver is also one of the greatest of all-time, notching six Pro Bowl selections and ranking in the top 5 in all-time receiving yards. Formerly of the San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, and Philadelphia Eagles, Owens was the lone bright spot on an otherwise awful 4-12 Cincinnati Bengals football team. And, while he's currently a free agent in the NFL, he appears to be quite busy off the field. In addition to starring in the VH1 reality series The T.O. Show, which follows Owens's personal life off the football field, he's heavily rumored to be engaged to R&B singer-songwriter and actress Brandy Norwood (Moesha), better known as "Brandy." AP Photo (2) Partner: Bobby McCray—Defensive End, Philadelphia Eagles A pass-rushing specialist, Bobby McCray starred on the New Orleans Saints's Super Bowl–winning 2009 team. Although he terrorizes quarterbacks on the field, McCray is quite the ladies man away from the gridiron. The 29-year-old, 6-foot-6 McCray is married to Khadijah Haqq, an actress who is best known for her role, alongside her twin sister, Malika, in the 2005 film Sky High, as well as appearing on an episode of the E! reality TV series Keeping Up With the Kardashians, since she's best friends with Khloe Kardashian. When Khadijah married her longtime love McCray on July 17, 2010, the entire Kardashian family was in attendance. AP Photo; Getty Images Partner: Kellen Winslow II—Tight End, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Football runs in Kellen Winslow II's blood. The son of Hall of Fame tight end Kellen Winslow, he has also made a name for himself, first as a star at the University of Miami and then making the 2007 Pro Bowl as a member of the Cleveland Browns. This past season, he helped lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a surprise 10-6 season, just narrowly missing a playoff spot. Kellen met his future bride, Janelle, in middle school, and they dated all the way through high school and college. The two were married in June 2006 at their suburban Cleveland home, and, in an ESPN segment called "For Love or the Game," Janelle stumped Winslow's teammate Brodney Pool in a quiz to see who knew Winslow better. In fact, she got all seven questions correct. Stephen Shugerman / Getty Images Partner: Quentin Jammer—Cornerback, San Diego Chargers The former University of Texas Longhorn football star made a solid (if not outstanding) transition to the NFL. He was the No. 5 pick in the 2002 NFL draft by the San Diego Chargers and has remained with the team since. His standout performance came in the 2007 Championship Game against the New England Patriots, where he held star wide receiver Randy Moss to just one catch for 12 yards and intercepted QB Tom Brady once. He's married to Alicia Jammer, and the couple has three children, with plans to adopt another child. Considered one of the hottest babes in the NFL, Alicia was profiled on an E! True Hollywood Story episode entitled "Football Wives," also featuring several other members of our list, including October Gonzalez and Christy Cooley. Sean Smith / Getty Images
