Nicole Kidman is joining the cast of an upcoming movie centered around Fox News founder Roger Ailes, and will play former anchor Gretchen Carlson, according to Deadline. The movie—which has the working title Fair and Balanced—is set to cover Ailes’ tenure at the helm of the conservative media bastion, and “will tell the story of the ensemble of women who took on the toxic male culture of Fox News and helped depose its chief architect.” Ailes, prior to his death two years ago, helped launch the careers of Carlson and current NBC News host Megyn Kelly, who will be played by actress Charlize Theron. The mogul was booted amid sexual harassment allegations that rocked the network, including accusations from Carlson and Kelly. Deadline also reports that Margot Robbie is “in talks” to join the movie’s cast to play a “fictional Fox News associate producer named Kayla Pospisil.”
