Remember when George Zimmerman’s lawyer said his client suffered from “Shaken Baby Syndrome” as a result of his altercation with Trayvon Martin? That claim has officially been ruled out with the release of new medical reports, which show that Zimmerman had no signs of head trauma when he went to the doctor the day after Trayvon Martin died. It turns out the main reason for the doctor’s visit was that he needed a note from the M.D. to return to work. While Zimmerman did indeed show up with a broken nose, black eyes, and two cuts on his head, he declined to go to an ear, nose, and throat specialist per the physician’s recommendation. The records also show that Zimmerman takes mood-altering medications.
