Famed election forecaster Allan Lichtman has revealed that he has received terrifying death threats since wrongly predicting a Harris victory in the lead-up to Tuesday’s election. Lichtman, a professor of history at the American University who has otherwise correctly predicted nine of the past ten elections, had pulled his prediction model at around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, citing that it wasn‘t “capturing the story of this election night well.” But he said Saturday evening that his has been subject to threats since his bad prediction. “We’ve faced death threats, doxxing, swatting and intimidation at our door step. We will not be bullied. Federal law enforcement is now alerted,” a defiant Lichtman wrote on X. Lichtman had earlier admitted that he was “wrong” about the landslide election and would review his prediction models.
