The New York City Police Department has issued an urgent message: “WE HAVE YOUR RING!” The NYPD have found an engagement ring down a storm drain in Times Square, and are on the hunt for the couple who lost the ring during an unfortunate proposal snafu. The NYPD says a man was proposing to his girlfriend Friday night when he dropped the ring and it fell about eight feet down a utility grate. Emergency service officers were called in to retrieve the ring with no luck. But the next morning, police recovered the ring. A happy ending hangs in the balance as the would-be bride and groom didn't leave names or contact information. If you have any information police have released surveillance photos of the couple and are asking the public's help in reuniting the couple with the ring.
