The New York Times has suspended its star White House reporter Glenn Thrush amid a sexual harassment probe, Vox reported Monday. Several women told the news site about alleged sexual misconduct by Thrush, who previously rose to prominence as a senior writer for Politico. Laura McGann, who authored the story for Vox, detailed her own accusations, writing: “Five years ago, when Thrush and I were colleagues at Politico... he caught me off guard, put his hand on my thigh, and suddenly started kissing me.” She added: “Thrush says that he recalls the incident differently.” The Times issued a statement: “We intend to fully investigate and while we do, Glenn will be suspended. We support his decision to enter a substance abuse program.”
