The President of the United States sat down with Glamour for an interview in the fashion and beauty magazine’s November issue. The magazine's Editor-in-Chief Cindi Leive had the opportunity to speak with the President about everything from unemployment to women’s rights. When she asked why contraception is a controversial topic, Obama responded: “I think in the minds of most Americans—men and women—access to contraception should be a no-brainer. Part of the reason we included that in our health care reform bill is that it affects everybody.”

Confronted with questions of pop culture, The Commander-in-Chief confessed he and eldest daughter Malia have similar taste in hip-hop and rap music. “Folks like Jay-Z, Nas, we both like them, but when it comes on and I’m sitting with her and Sasha, then I fast-forward because it would make me blush…”

Obama’s time in office will eventually come to an end – whether it’s four years from now or sooner - and it has many wondering if Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will step up to bat. “She has made America safer and more respected around the world because of the work that she’s done, and I think she could do anything well.” He continues, “Ultimately, after this phase is finished, this is really going to be a matter of: Does she want to continue to serve in the public spotlight, or does she want to shift into something that is not quite as high profile and stressful?”

The magazine hits stands October 9th, but you can read more from the interview here.
