President Barack Obama expressed his dismay Tuesday over The Daily Show host Jon Stewart’s impending retirement while making his third appearance as president (seventh overall) on the show. “I can’t believe you’re leaving before me. I’m going to issue an executive order,” he said in his final interview with Stewart as the host. “Jon Stewart cannot leave the show. It’s being challenged in the courts.” The president stopped by to pitch the Iran nuclear deal while also sharing his thoughts on the media, Republican politics, and tackling climate change before he leaves office. Trevor Noah will take over The Daily Show after Stewart’s final episode on Aug. 6.
