During a press conference following his nuclear security summit Friday in Washington, D.C., President Obama told the media that GOP frontrunner Donald Trump “doesn’t know much about foreign policy, or nuclear policy, or the Korean Peninsula, or the world generally.” Trump has come under fire in recent days for refusing to rule out the use of nuclear weapons in Europe, as well as suggesting that perhaps South Korea and Japan should have their own nuclear weapons. “We’ve been able to avoid catastrophe in [the Asian countries] and we don’t want somebody in the Oval Office who doesn’t recognize how important that is,” Obama added.
