Obama’s On a Roll! Photos From the White House Easter Egg Hunt

It’s a storied tradition no international turmoil or economic crisis can interrupt. Since its conception by President Rutherford B. Hayes, children have turned up to fling eggs down the White House Lawn for the annual Easter Egg Roll. This year, on April 1, President Obama and his family, joined by “Kid President” Robby Novak and the Easter Bunny, hosted kids for the event’s 134th year. Here are shots of the egg rolling, basketball playing, storytelling, and other Easter-themed activities that transformed the White House Lawn into a colorful playpen.
