Pop singer Sia has reportedly filed for divorce from her husband of two years Daniel Bernad.

According to documents obtained by TMZ and People magazine, the “Chandelier” singer listed the couple’s date of separation as Tuesday and subsequently filed for divorce in court on Wednesday.

The couple were married for around two years and share an 11-month-old baby, Somersault Wonder Bernad.

The singer, born Sia Kate Isobelle Furler, reportedly cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the pair’s split and is asking for legal and physical custody of their child. TMZ adds that she is “open” to visitation rights for Bernad.

The outlet also notes that she opted out of providing spousal support to Bernad, and writes that it’s unclear if the couple had a prenup.

A representative for Sia did not immediately respond to the Daily Beast’s request for comment.

The Australian songwriter married Bernad in an intimate ceremony at Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s Villa Olivetta in Portofino, Italy in May 2023, according to People magazine.

Prior to her relationship with Bernad, Sia was married to filmmaker Erik Anders Lang whom she wed in 2014. The couple called it quits two years later in December.

The singer previously opened up about the pair’s divorce in a 2023 episode of Zane Lowe’s Apple Music Beats 1 podcast where she disclosed, “I got divorced and that really threw me for a loop.”

“That one was such a dark time that I was in bed for three years,” she continued. “Really, really severely depressed, and so I couldn’t really do anything for that period of time.”
