A jury found officer Jeronimo Yanez not guilty on all counts in the fatal shooting of Philando Castile. The decision comes after 27 hours of jury deliberation. Castile was shot after being pulled over in July 2016. He was in the car with his girlfriend, Diamond Rey­nolds, and her four-year-old daughter. Castile's death attracted nationwide coverage when Reynolds livestreamed the aftermath of the shooting on Facebook. Yanez had been charged with one count of second-degree manslaughter and two counts of reckless discharge of a firearm.
