The Oklahoma Democratic Party headquarters has been vandalized with racist, anti-Semitic, and neo-Nazi graffiti, police confirmed Thursday morning. Former Gov. David Walters, who owns the Oklahoma City building, said Thursday that swastika drawings, neo-Nazi messages, and death threats were spray-painted in the parking lot and on the front door. “Well, it’s upsetting to the extent that our culture now and our country, it drives people to this type of expression,” Walters said. “It encourages people to speak out violently. It’s clearly a crime. It’s clearly a hate crime.” Oklahoma City Police confirmed to The Daily Beast on Thursday they are investigating the vandalism as a possible hate crime.
