One Palestinian died and 220 were injured on Friday as border clashes between Gaza residents and Israeli forces continued into a third week, according to Reuters. Palestinians were reportedly throwing stones and burning tires where Israeli sharpshooters were stationed. Israeli military also claimed that the crowd threw firebombs and an explosive device. Palestinian officials said Israeli troops opened fire on protesters. Since “The Great March of Return” protest started along the Gaza border, 31 Palestinians have been killed. No Israelis have died in the clashes.
