A Pakistani government prosecutor said on Friday he plans to challenge a court order granting bail to the Lashkar-e-Taiba commander who plotted the deadly 2008 Mumbai attacks. "I am completing all the legal formalties and then I will challenge this order in Islamabad on Monday," government prosecutor Mohammad Azhar Chaudhry told AFP. An anti-terrorism court on Thursday granted bail to Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, who along with seven others stands accused of masterminding the incident that left 166 people dead. India was quick to condemn the decision and urged Pakistan to appeal the ruling. The decision to grant bail comes just days after a terrorist attack in Pakistan left more than 100 schoolchildren dead. The sole attacker caught by India, Ajmal Kasab, was hanged.
