Unless a tea has some insanely unique or interesting ingredient, it’s pretty unremarkable. And yet, Par Avion creates remarkable teas with classic, simple ingredients, but with a twist.
Their best-selling Unicorn Tears tea (yes, that’s actually what it’s called) is one of the coolest things I’ve seen, tea or not. It steeps this gorgeous, cobalt blue and then once you add lemon, it changes to a rich purple. That’s thanks to the blue pea flowers, which react to the acid in the lemon to change colors. The green tea also includes rosehip, blue cornflower petals, and hawthorne fruit to round out a deliciously beautiful cup of tea.
They also have a bold, bright pink tea called Pink Mermaid, made with berries and hibiscus, something called Fairy Bomb Tea, which is a mesmerizing blooming flower tea, the Midnight Blend which is black tea with metallic golden sugar balls (and is one of the prettiest tea I've ever seen), Birthday Cake tea complete with rainbow sprinkles, Cotton Candy, Sparkling Rose, and more.

If you’re more of a classic tea drinker, they also carry elevated classics like Earl Grey (my personal favorite) and Chai, but also simple yet unique flavors such as Watermelon Lime, Mango Rose, among others. One of their newest launches is a Zodiac collection, which has a different blend for every sign.
I was sent the Unicorn Tears and Pink Mermaid to test out, but there's a good chance I'll be buying all the rest (specifically all the crazy-looking black teas) shortly. If you want to add a little punch to your afternoon tea, Par Avion's huge collection of blends is your answer.
