Too late to apologize? Paris Hilton hopes not. In a statement posted on GLAAD’s website Thursday, she issued a formal apology for the inflammatory anti- Gay statements she made in a recorded conversation, released to the public Thursday. “I am so upset that I caused pain to my gay friends, fans and their families,” reads the statement. Hilton goes on to say that the comments were made during a private conversation with a gay friend. “Gay people are the strongest and most inspiring people I know… I am so sorry from the bottom of my heart.”
