Paula Patton has officially filed for divorce from her estranged husband, Robin Thicke. The couple’s marriage was known to be on the rocks. Thicke made several public pleas to win back Patton, including naming his most recent album Paula. The couple have been married for eight years and have a 4-year-old son, Julian. Patton filed for joint custody, citing irreconcilable difference. Thicke’s fidelity was questioned after photos surfaced of him grabbing a woman’s bare behind. Regardless, sources told TMZ the divorce is “harmonious.” It’s been a tough year for Thicke. In addition to losing Patton, he is also facing a lawsuit alleging his hit “Blurred Lines” rips off Marvin Gaye’s “Got to Give it Up.”
