The death certificate for Paul Reubens reveals that he was suffering from leukemia but had also developed metastatic lung cancer. The Blast reports that the cancer caused acute hypoxic respiratory failure, which is what ultimately killed the Pee-Wee Herman Show star. Reubens, who was 70, kept his cancer battle secret until the announcement of his death on July 30.
