According to the AP, Sean Penn's secret interview with Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman may have helped authorities find and recapture him. A Mexican official said that the arrest which took place on Friday may have been assisted by the interview which happened in late 2015. Penn and Mexican actress Kate del Castillo are now under investigation. Guzman may be extradited to the United States now. However, according to a federal official, the extradition process would take six months at the very least.
