The Philadelphia Eagles won Super Bowl LII against the New England Patriots Sunday 41-33. The Eagles had the lead in the first half 13-9 and maintained the lead throughout the second—despite Patriots touchdowns in the second, third, and fourth quarters. A touchdown in the final five minutes of the fourth quarter and a flub on the part of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady led to a turnover in the final two minutes of the game, clinching victory for Philadelphia. This is the Eagles’ first Super Bowl win and their third appearance at the Super Bowl. This year’s NFL Championship was a rematch of Super Bowl XXXIX in 2005, where the Patriots won 24-21.
