Several pills recovered at Prince’s estate after his death were reportedly counterfeit drugs that contained fentanyl, a synthetic opioid more powerful than heroin. Many pills were falsely labeled “Watson 385,” which is supposed to identify pills containing acetaminophen and hydrocodone. Autopsy results indicated the musician died from an accidental fentanyl overdose. Authorities are still investigating how he got the drugs.
