A Southern California man ended a late-night police chase Tuesday by busting out into some breakdancing while officers held him at gunpoint. The man had led officers on a slow-speed chase through the San Fernando Valley after he allegedly drove recklessly and then failed to yield to commands to stop. The driver led officers on a freeway chase, mostly driving at speeds under 60 mph, making no evasive maneuvers to escape the officers but also declining to pull over. Eventually, he slowed to about 20 mph and exited via an off-ramp. Officers followed the man off the freeway and were finally able to stop him by spinning out around his vehicle. He then got out of the car and complied with officers’ orders—until he started breakdancing. When the show was over, officers were able to take the man into custody.
