Officials are investigating the murder of a Muslim teenager in Virginia as a road rage incident, Fairfax County Police announced Monday. Officials initially said the attack, which took place near a mosque, may have been a hate-crime. “Our investigation at this point in no way indicates the victim was targeted because of her race or religion,” Fairfax County Police said in a statement. A 22-year-old man has since been charged with murder in connection to the case.
