No one could have known. Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher and his girlfriend argued about “normal couple stuff” before the NFL player killed her and himself, a friend said. Belcher had a 3-month-old daughter with his girlfriend, 22-year-old Kasandra Perkins. The friend said Perkins, whom Belcher shot Saturday at the couple’s Kansas City home, was “really happy about being a mom.” The Kansas City Chiefs broke an eight-game losing streak Sunday, beating the Carolina Panthers 27–21. “It was an eerie feeling after a win,” said Chiefs quarterback Brady Quinn.
