U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo held two hours of talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Sunday, his fourth trip to Pyongyang since March. “Had a good trip to #Pyongyang to meet with Chairman Kim. We continue to make progress on agreements made at Singapore Summit,” he announced on Twitter, alongside a photo of himself walking with Kim. The pair enjoyed lunch together and reportedly discussed the terms of the denuclearization deal that remains up in the air after President Trump’s meeting with Kim in Singapore in June. Pompeo, who hailed great progress in talks after his last trip to North Korea in July only to have Pyongyang turn around and slam his “gangster-like demands,” gave few details on the latest meeting. But a U.S. official who had joined Pompeo on the trip told Reuters the meeting went “better than the last time,” although “it’s going to a be a long haul.”
