Too busy to remember to pray? Pope Francis has an app for that. The 82-year-old pontiff launched a new multi-platform service called ‘Click To Pray’ during his Sunday angelus prayer from his window overlooking St. Peter’s Square in Rome. The new platform coincides with World Youth Day 2019 which kicks off in Panama Jan. 22. The new app is part of the Pope's Worldwide Prayer Network and has a special vertical for kids called Eucharistic Youth Movement or EYM. The service, which is available in Spanish, English, Italian, French, Portuguese, and German, allows the faithful three options for their spiritual needs. “Pray with the Pope” lists Francis’s monthly prayer intentions; “Pray every day” sends users notifications three times a day to get down and pray; and “Pray with the network” is a multi-user platform where registered pray-ers can connect with others, including Pope Francis whose handle is, simply, Pope Francis.
