Pope Francis must have discovered doge or Seamless because in a statement released Thursday, he called the Internet "something truly good, a gift from God." In honor of World Communications Day, the pontiff said media is generally helping "us to grow closer, to know one another better, andultimately, to grow in unity." But @pontifiex doesn't sound happy about the Twitterfication of the world: "The speed with which information is communicated exceeds our capacity for reflection and judgement, and this does not make for more balanced and proper forms of self-expression."
