President Trump on Sunday continued to rail against the late Arizona Sen. John McCain, calling him “last in his class” at the United States Naval Academy and claiming he shared parts of the Steele dossier with journalists. “So it was indeed (just proven in court papers) ‘last in his class’ (Annapolis) John McCain that sent the Fake Dossier to the FBI and Media hoping to have it printed BEFORE the Election,” Trump tweeted shortly before 9 a.m. “He & the Dems, working together, failed (as usual). Even the Fake News refused this garbage!” Trump’s salvo against McCain, who passed away almost seven months ago from brain cancer, comes one day after another Twitter rant about McCain and the dossier, which had alleged the President had problematically close ties to Russia. “Spreading the fake and totally discredited Dossier ‘is unfortunately a very dark stain against John McCain,’” Trump tweeted Saturday, alluding to former special counsel Ken Starr’s recent statements on Fox News. Meghan McCain hit back against Trump’s Starr-related tweet, writing “No one will ever love you the way they loved my father.... I wish I had been given more Saturday’s with him. Maybe spend yours with your family instead of on twitter obsessing over mine?”
