President Donald Trump began his morning in Vietnam in much the same manner as he does in the United States, tweeting his displeasure at critics and the news media while embracing Russian President Vladimir Putin. “When will all the haters and fools out there realize that having a good relationship with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing,” tweeted Trump, apparently in response to criticism of comments he made earlier on Saturday in which he said he believed Putin in saying that the Kremlin did not interfere with the American presidential election last year. “There [sic] always playing politics - bad for our country. I want to solve North Korea, Syria, Ukraine, terrorism, and Russia can greatly help!” Trump then lashed out at the news media for fixating on the issue: “Does the Fake News Media remember when Crooked Hillary Clinton, as Secretary of State, was begging Russia to be our friend with the misspelled reset button? Obama tried also, but he had zero chemistry with Putin.” The president then moved on to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un for calling him “old”: “Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me "old," when I would NEVER call him "short and fat?" Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend - and maybe someday that will happen!”
