Prince Harry and Meghan Markle pressed the importance of parents to be “first responders” and able to “tell the signs of possible suicide,” as the two continued their crusade against cyberbullying during an interview with CBS Sunday, which will air on August 4. “Our kids are young — they’re three and five. They’re amazing,” Markle told CBS, according to People. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have two children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3. “But all you want to do as parents is protect them,” she added. “At this point, we’ve got to the stage where every parent needs to be a first responder,” Harry told CBS. “And even the best first responders in the world wouldn’t be able to tell the signs of possible suicide. That is the terrifying piece of this.” The pair’s Archewell Foundation has created a “support network for parents whose children and families have been impacted by online, social media harm,” according to the charity’s website.
