Prince Harry confirmed his departure from the British military after serving 10 years in the armed forces, Kensington Palace said Monday. The prince will end his service in June, when he’ll spend four weeks with the Australian Defense Force before a final tour of New Zealand. The 30-year-old Apache pilot served in two operational tours of Afghanistan. The prince said he plans on undertaking voluntary conservation work in sub-Saharan Africa before he returns to work as a volunteer with the Ministry of Defense’s Recovery Capability program.
