Speaking to People, a spokesman for William, responding to queries about online coverage of Kate’s absence from public view while recovering from her January abdominal surgery, told the outlet: “His focus is on his work and not on social media.” Speculation about Kate’s well-being reached a fever pitch after William pulled out of his godfather King Constantine of Greece’s memorial service last month. The palace responded by saying Kate was “doing well,” and she was recently photographed in a car being driven by her mother, Carole Middleton.
