Prosecutors have revealed what they’re claiming is shocking evidence in the murder trial of former University of Virginia lacrosse player George Huguely, which resumed this week, showing a threatening email from Huguely to his ex-girlfriend and alleged victim, Yeardley Love. In the email, Huguely writes that he “should have killed" Love when he found out she cheated on him with another student, Mike Burns. In his testimony, Burns admitted that he and Love had been together and said that at a party months before the murder, he found Love and Huguely alone together in a room, with Love in a “choke hold” and “George’s hands around Yeardley’s neck.” In a videotaped statement shown during the trial, Huguely admits to police that when he went to see Yeardley on the night of her death, he “shook her a little.”
