The 66-year-old house of Dior has a new master. Designer Raf Simons is to take over as artistic director, Dior will announce Wednesday, filling the post left empty after John Galliano was booted last year. He has designed for Jil Sander and runs his own menswear business. He’ll have big shoes to fill—Galliano singlehandedly revitalized the famous fashion house after he was appointed to the head job in 1996.
