He started at 11:45 a.m. EST and has stayed strong for more than two hours. Paul is attempting to hold up the vote on John Brennan’s confirmation as director of the CIA. Paul, who also wants to bring attention to the issue of drones, promised to not give up “until I can no longer speak” and “until the president says, ‘no’ he will not kill you at a café.” After about three hours of speaking, Paul was joined by Utah Republican Mike Lee.
