
The Hannah Montana Movie opens this weekend, and with 77% of the tickets already sold, it is sure to be a big hit for both Disney’s Miley Cyrus, and country prodigy Taylor Swift, both of whom have songs on the soundtrack.

With two big comedy premieres this week, the women had a chance to shine. Melora Hardin (lately of The Office, and soon to star in the FX pilot “Lights Out”) and Amy Poehler (far right) came out to fete the premiere of the Poehler’s new NBC comedy, Parks & Recreation. Anna Faris (center) wore a torso-baring gown to the L.A. premiere of Observe and Report, her new romp with Seth Rogen.

A new musical about the glory days of hair bands— Rock of Ages—got a rave this week (as did its stars, Amy Spanger and American Idol’s Constantine Maroulis). Broadway vet and Tony winner Faith Prince took over the role of Ursula in The Little Mermaid, making her debut the villain on April 7.
