Fire officials have declared the wildfire near Reno, Nev., contained after a Saturday storm brought rain, which hasn't happened there in months. Evacuations were lifted, but there are now flood warnings in the burned areas. The fire destroyed 29 homes and killed one person, a 93-year-old woman who was found dead in an apartment near where the fire started. An elderly man admitted to starting the blaze by throwing out fireplace ashes, but the victim’s family has declined to press criminal charges, saying it would “do no good.”
