CBS executives are reportedly panicking over an upcoming exposé about TV host Charlie Rose’s sexual misconduct, with fears growing that they’ll be accused of turning a blind eye to his behavior. The New York Post’s Page Six reported the network is attempting to use nondisclosure agreements to prevent potential sources from talking to reporters about Rose’s misconduct, and that execs are terrified about the looming Washington Post investigation. CBS News President David Rhodes, CBS This Morning Executive Producer Ryan Kadro, 60 Minutes Executive Producer Jeff Fager, and former CBS This Morning Executive Producer Chris Licht are all reported to fear repercussions from the upcoming report, with a source telling Page Six: “There are a lot of executives looking around corners, hoping they’re not named in the story... [CBS is] trying to suppress [the story] by using the NDAs... Jeff, Ryan and David are all waiting for the other shoe to drop.” Rose was fired in November 2017 after eight women accused the journalist of sexual harassment.
