The Department of Justice has launched a criminal investigation into a 2014 data breach at Uber, looking at whether or not ride service competitor Lyft had anything to do with the incident, Reuters reported on Friday. A Justice Department spokesperson told Reuters he could not confirm or deny that an investigation is taking place.
