Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty, the dynamic duo behind last year’s now-infamous Oscars flub, are reportedly slated to be getting another chance to present the Best Picture award at this year’s ceremony. Dunaway and Beatty have already begun rehearsing their lines, which will apparently include some light-hearted mockery of their previous fiasco, TMZ reports. After reportedly refusing to rehearse onstage together ahead of last year’s ceremony, the presenters wound up announcing La La Land as the winner, only to learn in the midst of the film cast’s acceptance speech that they’d opened the wrong envelope and Moonlight had actually won. The mistake was ultimately blamed on an accountant responsible for tallying the votes, but both Dunaway and Beatty took flak for the blunder long after the ceremony. They will reportedly poke fun at that epic screw-up this time around. Dunaway will open by saying, “Presenting is better the second time around,” to which Beatty will name the winner as Gone With the Wind.
