Report: Feds File 29 Charges Against Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting Suspect Robert Bowers

Twenty-nine federal charges were filed against Pittsburgh synagogue shooting suspect Robert Bowers on Saturday night, as the city mourned the death of 11 people in one of the deadliest attacks on America's Jewish community. Bowers, who reportedly yelled "All Jews must die," as he shot up the congregation, was charged with 11 counts of obstruction of exercise of religious beliefs resulting in death; 11 counts of use of a firearm to commit murder during a crime of violence; three counts of use and discharge of a firearm during a crime of violence; and four counts of obstruction of exercise of religious beliefs resulting in bodily injury to a public safety officer. Two responding police officers and two SWAT team officers were reportedly among at least six people injured in addition to the fatalities at the synogogue. At a rally on Saturday night, hours after the attacks, President Trump condemned the slayings as evil and added, ""We have to bring back the death penalty. They have to pay the ultimate price."
