In Touch magazine, which published a salacious interview with porn actress Stormy Daniels on Friday that detailed her alleged affair with President Donald Trump, initially held back on publishing the 2011 article because Trump’s lawyer threatened to sue, the AP reported on Friday night. Michael Cohen, Trump’s longtime lawyer, allegedly sent an email to the general counsel of the publication saying if the story was published Trump would pursue legal action. Cohen has denied that there was any sort of relationship between Daniels and Trump, but The Wall Street Journal reported that he helped get Daniels a $130,000 payment in October of 2016 to keep her from discussing the two's alleged tryst during the height of the presidential election.
