New satellites images reportedly show North Korea has begun dismantling key missile facilities. Experts at the monitoring group 38 North said in a report out Monday that Pyongyang began taking apart a missile-engine test site at the Sohae Satellite Launching Station, and the work is believed to have begun within the past two weeks. “Since these facilities are believed to have played an important role in the development of technologies for the North’s intercontinental ballistic missile program, these efforts represent a significant confidence-building measure on the part of North Korea,” Joseph S. Bermudez Jr., an expert on North Korea’s weapons programs at 38 North, said in the report.
