The man suspected of ramming a truck along a bike path in New York City on Tuesday afternoon reportedly left a note saying he acted on behalf of ISIS. According to NBC New York, the suspect, 29-year-old Uzbek national Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov, left the note inside the truck which he rented from a Home Depot store in New Jersey earlier in the day. At least eight people are known to be dead, and a dozen others were injured in what is being described as New York’s deadliest terror attack since 9/11. Saipov reportedly shouted “Allahu Akbar,” which translates to “God is great” in Arabic. He was shot in the abdomen after getting out of the truck, and was transported to Bellevue Hospital.
