Scott Pelley is being pushed out as anchor of CBS Evening News, The Daily Beast has confirmed. Page Six reported earlier Tuesday that Pelley, who is currently on assignment, will assume a permanent position with the network’s flagship news program, 60 Minutes. Pelley’s office was reportedly being cleared Tuesday. The network has not yet officially commented.
