The Senate Intelligence Committee has ordered members of Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein’s campaign to hand over documents relating to the committee’s investigation on Russian interference in the 2016 election, BuzzFeed reports. Senate Intelligence Committee chair Richard Burr told BuzzFeed that Stein was being investigated for potential “collusion with the Russians.” During her campaign, Stein came under scrutiny for appearing at a Moscow dinner hosted by the state-funded Russian news outlet RT. Stein says she did not know she would be seated near Flynn or Putin and that she barely spoke with her Russian hosts. A former Stein spokesperson said Stein would publicly release the documents she hands over the Senate committee.
