President Donald Trump sees White House adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner’s relationship with Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman as a “liability,” the Washington Post reports. While the president has publicly said it could be possible that Prince Mohammed didn’t know about Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi’s death, he reportedly has “privately grimaced” about Kushner’s close relationship with the Crown Prince. He also thinks the relationship has left the White House with “no good options.” The administration is also reportedly “questioning the value” of the U.S.’s relationship with Prince Mohammed, as Saudi Arabia's “handling” of the fallout of Khashoggi’s death has “tarnished Mohammed’s image” in the administration’s eyes.
